Sibling Power

A quiet Sunday today, as Mark rests up to prepare for another week of treatment. He has now finished Day 23 of Radiation. 12 more to go !!

This will be the last full week of 5 daily sessions. Because of the holiday, next week will be 4 days, and then New Years week will be the last 3 days.

He is eating less and less. We are going to the feeding tube more and more. He's sleeping a lot, which is always the best medicine. Right now he just surpassed the 3 hour point in his afternoon nap. Glad he is able to get some peace.

Thursday night he got a great surprise gift. His sister Janie came from Costa Rica to be with us thru the holidays. Janie being here has completely brightened his spirits. Above is a photo of Mark, sister Mary on the left (as most of you know lives in Laguna too) and Janie on the right. Two incredible women supporting their baby brother.
